I know I haven’t updated here in QUITE a while- I realized just now that my last thing on here is from a couple days before I left for Ireland last August.
Well, I’m continuing my fancy-shmancy bloggy thing from over there, so if you want to get caught up, click on the link in bold above. It includes pictures on some posts! (Of mine!! Yay!)
I’ll be posting here more soon… hopefully. At least, I’ll do my best.

The green countryside of County Kerry, Ireland, slowly reclaims a castle near the village of Kilgarvan. Taking its present name from the Irish Cill Garbháin, or Church of St. Garbhan, Kilgarvan rests on the banks of the Roughty River, which flows into Kenmare Bay.
I’M GOING THERE IN TWO DAYS.
Well, sort of. The same country, at least.

*This is my new official blog for my semester in Ireland (eleven days!!). If you have a minute, please check it out, as it’s going to be great. I’ll probably update here once in a awhile still, either putting up links to posts on that site or posting pictures here. Wish me luck!
When I arrived home from INC, which I will probably post about later, I saw a red plastic folder on my bed. Inside was a lot more specific information about where I’m going to be living, the school I’m going to go to, and other such details.
Basically, I’m going to be living with a family who looks like they’re going to be a lot of fun, share a room with another (German) exchange student about my age, and live in a house that’s almost as old as America with a view of the sea. I’m pretty excited.
The thing is, I now have only 28 days to finish as many college apps as possible, figure out what I need, pack, earn more money, and somehow cope with the fact that I won’t be back home until after my 18th birthday. Don’t get me wrong, I’m extremely excited. But I’m also a bit terrified.
This is a time for muffins.
